6th WFDYS CAMP IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY

The 6th WFDYS camp will be held in Istanbul, Turkey 19 – 25 July 2015 with “Youth Beyond Diversity” as camp theme.

The WFDYS camps are an important part of our work to achieve full human rights for deaf youth people worldwide. We know that you as a camper will take part of an amazing opportunity to gain your knowledge about your rights and make your cultural understanding bigger. You will be meeting new and life-long friends from each part of the world and this is a unique part of each WFDYS camp.

Main objectives of WFDYS Youth Camp:

• Training deaf youth in organization and leadership activities
• Networking between deaf youth of different countries
• Cultural exchanges between different nationalities

For deaf youth people from 18 to 30 years old. Every country can submit four participants (the third and fourth person will be on the waiting list) and should represent the gender and ethnic diversity of their deaf community.
