On the evening of 27 July, the WFD Youth Section board members were invited to do a live interview by the Vive! Network in Caracas, the second most viewed show in Venezuela. The board members discussed about the aims of the WFDYS, which includes advocating for human rights of deaf people worldwide, promoting equal access in education with sign language, and about the upcoming Children Camp at Margarita Island. The Vive! host was gracious and very curious about international sign, the rights of deaf people, and our outlook of the future of deaf children. Here, you can view a short clip of the live television interview! |
